Résumé

Fatigue affects up to 72% of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including up to 1 in 2 patients whose disease is in remission.1

Beyond IBD treatments, few therapies for fatigue have been studied. The lack of clear success in clinical trials investigating fatigue treatments in IBD has left many clinicians without the therapeutic arsenal to manage this symptom.

This paper aims to provide a practical roadmap for busy clinicians to understand and incorporate IBD-related fatigue discussions within their consultations.
